Presidents Notes

It's been a great year and we have had a lot of things happen that have made us a stronger club. We have had our election of officers for the next year and I  am looking forward to working with them.  2011 is almost behind us and the new year is just ahead. I  have enjoyed being a part of this club. The people that I have worked with has made it fun and enjoyable. We have had some real good shows and some that didn't turn out so good. This is where we learn and grow . This club has the ability to grow and become well known. We are the only Tractor club that has been invited to show at the state capital. The club is fortunate to have as a working partner The Bay Forge club and to enjoy the events that they display. They show how early farmers made their own tools and plows and repaired all types of farm equipment.

The club is looking forward to a great year. We have grown to a club of 100 + members and are still growing. If we all pull together we can make this even a better year. We have some great events coming up this year and looking to add more. We are also looking to meet new people and having them become active members, (maybe even become presidential candidates  ,"Judy"). The club has learned that the more working displays we can set up the more the crowd enjoys the event. Our main goal at an event is to demonstrate the farm life in early days and show its progression. To show how equipment and tractors were used to make work on the farm better.  As a club we are trying to keep THE HERITAGE ALIVE . As we all pull together we can share our farm experiences, show our antique tractors, gravely, hit and miss engines and listen to old farm stories that other people have lived.

If I can do anything to help you please call me.
